New Artist. New Single.

As a new artist, I’ve realized the joys and….well non-joys of recording. My new single “Bread and Wine” is releasing this summer. Probably sometime in June. I’ve been working on this song for about 10 months now. I wrote it in August of 2011, made loops for it, and did demos and acoustic versions of it. Stopped working on it later that year to focus on school. Made some great new friends in early 2012 that inspired me to perform my music, so we started working on my music more together. Then I fell in love and that man in my life is now my producer and has transformed my music and from that point on, I did a few shows with a great band started working on Bread and Wine again. Its now the 3rd day of recording it professionally and the song has been completely transformed. Its totally different. Still has the same meaning and the lyrics are the same (besides verse 2…because verse 2 was very silly before). But the atmosphere and feel of it is now…kinda like a light trance alternative coldplay electronic feel. If that makes sense.

So the release date was going to be May 30, but we’ve had had to push it back a bit. Although it’s unfortunate, pushing it back means that i can get alot of shields on the song to protect it and to put it on various music stations and providers. So for you, me pushing it back means that you get to purchase it and have it as your own to listen to it as you wish! Right now we are hoping that it will release on iTunes sometime in mid June. SPOILER ALERT: there will be a music video. And that will be up soon ^__^

Bread & Wine. Its about fake churches. Churches where people just want you in their “sanctuary” (notice how I said THEIR sanctuary, and not GOD’s sanctuary) just for the money. A lot of churches strive only for the money and pride, and that’s not what it’s supposed to be about. Those churches still give Communion, but its only bread and wine. I don’t wont bread and wine. I want the flesh and the blood. The real thing, the real love.
